On June 5th, an important health initiative was carried out under the “Sehat Sahi Laabh Kayi” program at the CHO Center in Hiranahi, Kushinagar. The occasion, observed as Clinic Day, focused on providing essential check-ups for pregnant women to ensure their safety and well-being.

The examinations were conducted by CHO Kusumlata and ANM Geeta Devi, who guided expectant mothers on proper health practices during pregnancy. The program also received strong support from ASHA workers Kiran Devi and Shila Devi, whose dedication helped ensure that local women could access timely medical attention.

Adding to the awareness efforts, the Radio Pragya 90.4 MHz team, led by RJ Navneet, actively participated in the event. Their presence reinforced the importance of community media in spreading health messages and encouraging people to join such initiatives.

This effort is also linked to larger public health movements like #TBMuktBharat and the 100-Day TB Elimination Campaign, showcasing how integrated community action can address multiple health challenges at once.

By combining the efforts of healthcare professionals, ASHA workers, and Radio Pragya, this Clinic Day program highlighted the power of #JanBhagidari (public participation) in building a healthier, stronger Kushinagar.
